Metropolis Customs Brokers Inc., of New York, a wholly owned division of Albini & Pitigliani Spa of Italy since its founding in 1999, is announcing that it has officially changed its name to ALPI Customs Brokers Inc.
Albini & Pitigliani Spa, a family owned logistics company headquartered in Italy, is the parent company of USA divisions ALPI USA Inc. and ALPI Logistics, Inc., and of many ALPI offices throughout the world. The name change is part of a rebranding initiative to better align the brokerage division with ALPI’s Transportation and Logistics divisions, and with its ALPI partners overseas.
Kelly Morrison, C.O.O. of ALPI Customs Brokers Inc., states “While our company name is changing, core elements of the organization will remain the same. We will continue to offer our customers and partners the same high-quality customs brokerage services, with the same staff and location. This name change brings us closer to the ALPI family, and provides us with greater name recognition in the marketplace.”
